Erica Nichole Wright

E. Nichole just might appear on your TV one day.  “I love the spontaneity of TV,” the 1999 Firestone VPA High school grad says.  “You never can guess what’s going to happen next.”

E. Nichole’s broadcasting career started many years ago as a news reporter for “Kids Voting in the 20th Century,” a local program completed as a student at Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts.  As one of the first theater students there as well as at Firestone, she appeared in several productions.  With these experiences, E. Nichole made the most of her opportunities to appear onstage.  Once she even shared the stage with then president Bill Clinton at a Race Forum held at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, which aired nationally on most major networks such as C-Span and CNN.

She has pursued a wide range of professional experiences through internships, her first one working at MTV as a production intern—assisting talent and artists and conducting pre-interviews for a variety of shows.  Erica assisted production of the 2002 Video Music Awards, TRL, and several other MTV programs. While in college she also managed to do tour assistance for Def Jam music label, street team promotions for the local radio stations and much more.  Erica has served as a production assistant for a film being shot in Cleveland as well as participated as an extra in the movie White Boy Rick.

Erica studied Television, Radio, and Film at The Ohio State University.  While a student there, she served as a spokesperson for a TV program called “A Kids Life in the 20th Century” which aired nationally on the NBC station.  She transferred schools and graduated in December of 2006 from Middle Tennessee State University, where she was the music entertainment host for Middle Tennessee Television.

Erica’s adventures have allowed her the opportunity to be shown in tons of commercials, fashion shows, calendars, magazine covers, flyers, and other media outlets.  She has been featured on Youtube as a beautiful plus model, an amazing host with a demo reel featuring top R&B artists, comedians, and  talented entertainers.  She starred as the Lead in the hit Youtube series “In Love There’s War”, which has grossed over 300k viewers.  She has also been featured hosting a show on youtube for Massachusetts Single Magazine called MSMTV Barhoppers, BostonColor.com, Unveiled, Nubiantv.com, Humormill Magazine, and countless others.  Her latest adventures include a radio show called “Memoirs of Love” which focuses on Transparency in love and relationships, and a podcast “Thee Black & White Series” which focuses on race relations.  Erica is currently working on a book, and loves giving back through her Mentoring Program called: Beautiful Mirror; which focuses on Self Esteem, Motivation, and Accountability.

E. Nichole gives back by encouraging girls in her “Beautiful Mirror” program which focuses on positive self-esteem and self-empowerment in teenage girls.  Erica will also add author to her belt, with the release of her new book in the fall.

Haggai 2:9 (King James Version)

"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts."

Philippians 3:14 (King James Version)

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
